Joshua is a director/producer, world recording artist and international facilitator passionate about mindful living and environmental conservation. He loves telling a good story and believes that video has the power to transcend cultural, social and political boundaries. Over the past 20 years, he has created a personal brand called Embodied Sounds, directed music videos and commercials, produced original content across social media channels, worked on feature documentary films as a cinematographer and ran his own production company in New York City.
In 2009, Joshua worked as a cinematographer for Walking the Camino: Six Ways to Santiago and his meditation practice was born. He since has travelled across five continents on a spiritual journey that brought him to the power of sound as a therapeutic modality. While travelling, he led international trips with teenagers teaching leadership and personal development in four countries. In 2019, he founded Sounds of the Ocean, a sound bath to connect with marine life. To date, they have raised over $1000 for ocean conservation groups and presented at over 15 locations including Burning Man 2019 and an exhibit for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Santa Cruz, California.
