Josh loves telling a good story and believes that video has the power to transcend cultural, social and political boundaries. He believes that this timeless practice is one of the most important parts of our world today. Over the past 15 years, he has worked on feature documentary film projects as a cinematographer, hosted Facebook livestream videos from around the world and ran his own production company in New York City. He began his career as an editor and learned storytelling from the ground-up in the fast-paced world of industrials, music videos, commercial spots and cooking shows. He then founded Hands-In Productions and began directing promotional films for startups and small businesses. In 2009, Josh served a documentary team as a cinematographer on the Camino de Santiago and his passion for travel and filmmaking were forever combined. He since has went on sharing compelling stories with the world and is very grateful to have collaborated with award-winning filmmakers. You can follow Josh on his Instagram account, @themusicalyogi where he combines his passion for filmmaking with music therapy. He is currently deepening his study of how sound can bring more mindfulness, peace and compassion into our busy modern lives. While not working, you can find Josh out in nature enjoying the great outdoors!
